You Ain't Gettin' My Country
The Divorcees are an uncompromising old-school Honky-Tonk Southern rock band. Their album You Ain't Gettin' My Country, released early in 2007, echoes the Outlaw Country of Waylon and Willie, but probably is nearer in style to Waylon's son, Shooter Jennings.
Powerful, full-on rockers with a feel of the south, the songs on You Ain't Gettin' My Country are about partying, gambling, booze, fighting, women and how they wish they weren't partying, gambling, boozing, fighting and messing with women.
Fans of The Allman Brothers or Lynyrd Skynyrd will certainly enjoy Canada's finest.
