The Crooked Jades - World's On Fire

Deep and dark, the haunting old time melodies of the Crooked Jades' music have echoes of Africa in their Americana brooding. This is the Americana frequented by Tom Waits and Nick Cave, rather than the old time mountain music being made popular by other traditionalists.

Band leader Jeff Kazor has returned with a new lineup on World's On Fire, once again re-arranging rare old-time gems and his own originals, played on vintage and eclectic instruments.
