Carolina Rain - Weather The Storm

Carolina Rain's vocal blend and unique instrumentation on their 2006 debut Weather The Storm is a product of their separate but similar musical backgrounds.

Rhean (pronounced 'wren') Boyer's rock-influenced lead vocals and songwriting skills combined with mandolin player/background vocalist Jeremy Baxter's Tennessee bluegrass-gospel family history and banjoist/background vocalist Marvin Evatt's somewhat unlikely classical training have paved the way for Carolina Rain to seemingly breathe in harmony.

But Carolina Rain knows something stronger than their music has blessed them on their journey to success. That key element is friendship. 'If one of us is down, the others pull him up' says Baxter. 'We found out early on that we all had the same goal. There's never been anyone pulling the cart in a different direction. We've always moved forward together.'
