Walter Becker

Guitarist/bassist/songwriter/producer Walter Becker joined with Donald Fagen at college in the late sixties.

They became members of Jay and the Americans, before signing a songwriting contract with ABC Records, and then forming Steely Dan, who were to sell millions of records throughout the seventies.

Becker and Fagen were the heart of the group, before parting in 1981. A reformation in 1993 led to the start of a belated solo career from Becker.
