Jason Michael Carroll's album Waitin' In The Country is his debut release and has already had a hit single with the ballad Alyssa Lies, about child abuse.

Sounding similar Trace Adkins' vocal style, with John Mellencamp's producer Don Gehman at the helm, and proven Nashville songwriters Craig Wiseman and Casey Beathard behind him has resulted in a clearly radio friendly album.

No Good In Goodbye is a duet with singer Jewel who also shared writing credits with Carroll on the track together with Shaye Smith.
