Wailin' Jennys
Canadian trio The Wailin' Jennys are Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta, Annabelle Chvostek. Playing traditional acoustic instruments (guitar, mandolin, banjo, accordion and fiddle), the Wailin' Jennys have built a solid reputation in the bluegrass world, and tour across the world regularly. The personnel have changed in 2007 with Heather Masse replacing Annabelle Chvostek (who in turn replaced Cara Luft), but this has had little impact on their popularity. Their latest release Firecracker hit the number two spot on the Bluegrass charts on its release in 2006.
