Try Me One More Time
The first release from David Bromberg in almost 20 years is Try Me One More Time. The one-time A-list session player and subsequent roots singer-songwriter pulled out of hard touring and recording in 1980 as he felt this was compromising his creativity.
His new album Try Me One More Time is the first since 1980's Sideman Serenade and returns to his folk and blues acoustic music roots and sounds as though it could have come from the mid 1960's Greenwich Village folk scene.
This is a virtuoso musician doing what he does best without needing, or trying, to impress anyone.
