 Tracy Byrd has been a mainstay of the CMT country revolution for a long time, but has now left his safety net behind him and ventured down the route of independent labels. This has already been beneficial for music fans as he has felt able to express himself more, and has returned to his traditional country roots in the way other traditionalists have, such as Clint Black or Randy Travis.
