Tony Joe White

Since 1969 Tony Joe White has been the definitive purveyor of Louisiana swamp music. His signature song, the classic Rainy Night In Georgia was typical of this blues, country, folk, and soul artist.

Tony Joe White toured and supported major artists in the 70s and 80s before forming an alliance with Tina Turner's manager in the 1980s which saw Turner record four of his songs for her multi-platinum album Foreign Affairs.

Tony Joe has been a perennial performer since those days, developing a sizeable following across the world.
