Rod Picott - Tiger Tom Dixon's Blues

Music Row's Robert Oermann summed it up best when he described the release of Rod Picott's debut CD Tiger Tom Dixon's Blues in 2001 as 'the birth of a major, major talent'.

Quite why Picott is critically-lauded - he's written with Fred Eaglesmith and Slaid Cleaves and toured with Alison Krauss - while remaining stubbornly 'underground' is a question that has taxed better minds than mine.
