The Waifs

Australian Sister duo of Vicki and Donna Simpson who spent their time performing Bob Dylan covers joined up with Josh Cunningham and set about building a loyal following as The Waifs before eventually releasing three albums beginning with their self-titled debut in May 1996.

In the ten years that followed The Waifs have become darlings of the folk festival circuit across the world, and have opened for the likes of Michelle Shocked and Kasey Chambers.

Their 2007 release after a four-year hiatus was Sundirtwater.
