On The Trouble With Poets, his third release, Peter shows us that as well as being one of the best contemporary song writers around today he is also an accomplished guitarist, displaying some superb and intricate fretwork.

First track of the eleven featured on the album is the title track. The Trouble With Poets defines the poet as one who can see poetry in every element of human life and everyday events. Peter Mulvey is also lucky enough to have a voice that is very easy on the ear, making listening to the lyrics a most pleasurable experience.
