When musical songwriting legend Chip Taylor joined forces with Austin-reared fiddler and singer Carrie Rodriguez, a particular chemistry that no-one could have predicted was formed. Over time their touring has cemented their creative partnership, and the twosesome sound as if they were born to sing together.

Recorded in Boston and Austin, The Trouble With Humans features a core band of folk-rock stalwarts like Dave Mattacks of Fairport Convention along with Texas guests like Dixie Chicks producer Lloyd Maines on steel guitar, pianist Earl Poole Ball (Johnny Cash) and Telecaster guitar legend Redd Volkaert (Merle Haggard).

The music complements the magic of Taylor and Rodriquez, who once again create a fine collaboration following on from the critcally-acclaimed Let's Leave This Town.
