Gary Nicholson - The Sky Is Not The Limit

In 1983, Gary Nicholson was a staff writer with Sony/ATV for fifteen years. His songs have appeared in the movies Urban Cowboy, Major League, City of Hope, Message in a Bottle, Happy Texas, Sylvester, Where the Heart Is and Serving Sara. He has earned twenty-six ASCAP awards as writer and publisher, and toured or recorded with Delbert McClinton, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver and Bobby Bare.

The Sky is not the Limit is Nicholson's solo debut release, and features guests Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill, Ivan Neville, Steve Cropper and the 'Fortunate Sons' group with Michael Rhodes, Kenny Greenberg, Reese Wynans, Chad Cromwell.

Nicholson is a blues-based Singer Songwriter tapping into the heart Classic Rock, the accessibility of Pop and the twangy grit of Country.
