The Sick and Indigent Song Club

The Sick and Indigent Song Club are a Dublin-based collection of musicians playing old time music dipping into a diverse range of styles including blues, country, folk, sea shanties, gospel, burlesque and bluegrass.

The distinctive vocals of Angie McLaughlin and the rich brogue of Gary Fitzpatrick are backed by ukulele, mandolin, harmonicas, dobro, fiddle and washboard.

Creating a sound that reflects the cosmopolitan and free sprit that is Dublin today, the skilful mandolin and haunting dobro of Shane McGrath and Gerry Fitzpatrick are offset by Christian Volkmann's blues harmonica and Sheila Sullivan's classical violin overtones on their debut album The Inistioge Folly.
