Vince Gill - The Millennium Collection: The Best Of

The high, lonesome tenor of Vince Gill is one of the best-loved voices in country music. A true entertainer, but a down-to-earth and genuine person, Vince Gill's love of bluegrass has never deserted him.

Despite his lofty status as one of the 'New Country' elite, and his power ballads and associations with the great and good of CMT his music has its feet firmly set in a traditionalist mould.

This 2007 resissue of the Best Of Vince Gill: The Millennium Collection features a clutch of his most well-known songs and is worth checking out in this mid-price range.

Much is also being made of the eco-friendly packaging, but whether that will influence the record buying public remains to be seen.
