Deana Carter - The Chain

With help from Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, Harper Simon, Jessi Colter, John Anderson, Willie Nelson, Shooter Jennings and George Jones, Deana Carter has delivered her second release for Vanguard in 2007, The Chain.

In addition to producing the album, Carter also offers solo renditions of Lay Lady Lay, The Weight, Crying and Old Man. Her father, session player Fred Carter Jr., performs throughout the album.

As Deana says,'This album is one I've been hoping to make since I was a little girl. It is a tribute to my father, Fred Carter, Jr., and some of the amazing artists and records he s been a part of.'
