Wade Bowen & West 84 - The Blue Light Live

Wade Bowen with his band West 84 recorded The Blue Light Live, as a folow-up to his CD Try Not To Listen. Bowen admists that the album was very rushed, done with very little money and even less time.

However, the purpose of recording in theis way was to allow Bowen and West 84 to keep it as raw and honest as possible. Some acts will record a number of shows and pick the best performances out, but with The Blue Light Live there was no such luxury, and this CD nore or less captures the whole thing, warts'n'all. A two and a half hour set distilled down to the 13 tracks included on the CD.
