The highly anticipated sixth independent release from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Billy Yates is released in 2008. That's Why I Run, the first full studio album in nearly two years, offers up 13 brand new songs written and recorded by Yates.

"I've really tried hard to take my time to come up with a batch of songs that would make for a great listen," says Yates. "When I think of some of my own personal favorite CDs, they are always colourful and varied in tempos and feels with songs that make you laugh and songs that make you cry.
