Texas Dance Hall Memories
Texas Dance Hall Memories is a 2007 release from Central Texas vocalist and fiddle player Don Wallace, and is produced by Don along with and the very talented Justin Trevino, who is also, heard playing bass and rhythm guitar.
The album also features the fiddles of Rockie King and the legendary Fiddlin' Frenchie Burke who is in the spotlight on Link Davis' Big Mamou. Jim Loessberg is heard playing some very enjoyable steel guitar and Ray Tesmer playing lead guitar. George Strait's Ace in the Hole band pianist Ronnie Huckaby is heard playing keyboard and Dennis Hall is heard playing drums.
The album opens with Willie Nelson's What a Way to Live and stays in the Johnny Bush mood for Larry Kingston's Jim, Jack & Rose and Willie and Hank Cochran's Undo the Right. Hank also gave us A Way to Survive from the great Ray Price. ~ Swingin' West
