Patti Witten - Tell The Wind

Tell The Wind is Patti Witten's fourth album, following her award winning Sycamore Tryst from 2003. Love lost or gone awry is the theme that runs throughout the album and its symbol is the wind - from the crows wheeling overhead on the CD cover to the folk gospel of the title track.

Producer Rich DePaolo's layered arrangements feature Patti's Colvinesque voice and acoustic guitar plus his own acoustic and electric guitar, bass, organ, trumpet, even toy piano. There is economical use of drums by Bill King and guest appearances from Robby Aceto (Tom Tom Club) on guitar and Robert Powell (Peter Gabriel, Jackson Browne) on pedal steel guitar.

Patti also did the graphic design for the CD's unique plastic-free packaging.
