Stuart Hamblen
 Stuart Hamblen was the son of a itinerant Methodist preacher from Texas. Between 1931 and 1952 he hosted had several radio programs and appeared in some 10 western movies.
In 1949 after attending a prayer meeting being held by a young Billy Graham in Los Angeles. He made a decision to devote his life to Christ. He gave up his drinking, his radio programs and acting career, and began traveling across the country speaking and singing at Youth for Christ rallies, Billy Graham crusades, and churches.
Hamblen is best known for the many songs he wrote, his most well known being It Is No Secret, which was written in 1951. In 1954, Hamblen was signed by RCA and his first release, This Ole House, reached the top of the C&W charts with Rosemary Clooney’s rendition reaching number 3 on the pop charts.
