As the walking wounded from Toronto's Saddletramps there was little expected of Loomer, but when ringleader Andrew Lindsay met Scott Loomer everything changed. The new lease of life with this chance meeting led to the release of their debut CD Love Is A Dull Instrument in 2004 which met with widespread critical acclaim across Europe and America.

2006 finally saw the release of the much anticipated follow-up Songs of the Wild West Island and as Scott himself says ... 'We play because we love the music. It's not like we want our own action figures or anything.'
