John Starling and Carolina Star may be better known to bluegrass fans by their earlier title, Seldom Scene. Starling, together with Mike Auldridge and Tom Gray have released a 'reunion' album Slidin' Home which sees these influential musicians once again demonstrate their stunning musicianship and understated, quality vocals, this time with the help of a few well-known friends.

Emmylou Harris revisits her Gram Parsons duet In My Hour Of Darkness while Jon Randall pops in to lend his vocal skills to the Jimmie Rodgers classic Waiting for a Train.
