Sera Cahoone

With a first exposure to performing as a drummer at the age of 12 in open mic nights in Denver, Sera Cahoone has taken an unorthodox route to success.

In 2006, Cahoone decided to step out from the cymbals and snare (her day job being drummer for Band Of Horses) and focus on singing, songwriting, and guitar playing, skills she’d been honing for nearly 15 years on her own.

2008 sees her second release, Only As the Day Is Long, her quiet, country-noirish debut for the Sub Pop label.
