Scott Miller and the Commonwealth
A Singer-Songwriter with the swagger and vibrancy of a rock star - Scott Miller with his occasional group the Commonwealth made his name with pop/rock outfit the V-Roys after catching the ear of Steve Earle in 1996, who then produced a couple of their albums.
The V-Roys called it a day in 1999 and Miller quickly established himself as an acoustic act, noted for his wry, satirical take on life.
The commonwealth were formed as a studio band, and Miller then went on to form a touring version to support their electric, rocking sets that saw him sign with Sugar Hill Records.
