Todd Fritsch - Sawdust

Todd Fritsch's 2007 release Sawdust is another helping of traditional country music from one of the best young, new exponents of the art. Sawdust boasts a generous 17 tracks, and none of those can be classed as fillers.

The plaintive feel of What's Wrong With Me is one of the highlights, with touching lyrics and evocative mandolin in the mix, but this album rocks in equal measure for fans of old-fashioned honky-tonk.

Undoubtedley one of the best new country singers to shirk the pop route since George Strait, Todd Fritsch is a name true country fans should be getting acquainted with sooner rather than later.
