Ron Williams
Ron Williams' mom, Leona Williams, had a career touring with the likes of Loretta Lynn, Ernest Tubb and others through Ron's tender years. She had songs recorded by Gene Watson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Randy Travis, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams Jr. She also spent nine or ten years with Merle Haggard ... some of those years spent in a marriage to Merle that didn’t last, subsequently marrying the now sadly departed guitarist and songwriter Dave Kirby.
Ron Wlliams spent eight years as a staff writer at two major publishing companies in Nashville, his most successful song being Joe Diffie's Somethin' Like This, and releasing his own independent album in 2005.
2007 saw Williams release Texas Style, a true honky-tonk album released on the famous Heart Of Texas Records label.
