Rodney Atkins possesses a deep, strong voice with a tender heart. His first release was in 2003, and the album Honesty very much lived up to its name, but he was still wanting to something that would represent a piece of him. Something that was true to his heart and his love for the people around him.
He went back to roots, built a studio at home where he laid down all the vocals while spending time with his family. The result was If You're Going Through Hell, an album that plays country music as it was meant to be played - with heart, reflecting life.
