Pam Tillis - Rhinestoned

Multiple Grammy Award winner Pam Tillis' 2007 release Rhinestoned, which is her first studio release in almost 5 years since her tribute to her father It's All Relative, a Tribute to Mel Tillis.

Rhinestoned features Nashville's finest songwriters, given the inimitable Tillis treatment. Jon Randall, Matraca Berg  are two of the contributors, and Pam herself adds to the songwriting duties.

The sound is unmistakable neo-traditionalist, with rootsy bluegrass and traditional country neatly sidestepping the gloss of many of today's releases. Mixing duties are handled by Ray Kennedy, his recent work with Steve Earle and Lucinda Williams obviously playing a part in ensuring a true to the core sound on Rhinestoned.
