Redbird - Redbird (Foucault, Delmhorst & Mulvey)

Redbird's debut album is an informal collaboration between Jeffrey Foucault, Kris Delmhorst & Peter Mulvey.

Each of the artists has carved out their own place in Americana music, and their collaborative work departs from the usual singer-songwriter experience as they tackle a range of songs by songwriters they each admire and enjoy.

Recorded around a single mic in Mark Olson's living room this off-the-cuff session Redbird blur the lines between jazz, country, public domain songs, and songs by friends and contemporaries into a series of snapshots, each song as it happened, nothing added or subtracted.
