Rearview Mirror Tears
Rearview Mirror Tears introduces Kendel Carson's natural blend of folk, country and rock, and marks her as one of 2007's brightest new talents. This young Canadian singer-songwriter and former child prodigy violinist is the latest protege of the venerable Chip Taylor. Taylor adds his weight to production duties, and compatriots John Platania and Carrie Rodriguez lend their considerable talents to the proceedings.
Rearview Mirror Tears was recorded in a few days after a short period of Carson and Chip Taylor writing together, and has a sponteneous charm and live feel. Some bonus tarcks are included, featuring There's No Angel On My Shoulder, one of Taylor's trademark Angel-In-The-Morning-type ballads that was written in the late sixties, together with a country rocker Who Wants To Ride This Train.
