Peter Walsh looks and sounds like a classic sixties blues musician poeticising life in the deep American south. His raw voice ranges from portraying an almost breakable soul to seeming insouciant and untroubled; His guitar croons like a second voice. Peter is a singer/songwriter with the passion of Bob Dylan and the finger picking style of Mississippi John Hurt.
However this native of Wales lives thousands of miles away from the heart of front porch Americana, the style he embodies so convincingly. Walsh’s debut album, Forbidden Road, is the culmination of two years worth of stories, Delta influences, and musical experimentation.
