Pam Tillis

Pam Tillis is the daughter of Mel Tillis, legendary Nashville songwriter and latter day gospel singer. Pam sang on the Grand Old Opry at the ripe old age of eight.

Elektra released Pam' first single in 1981 before she released her first album in 1983 for Warner Bros. Both failed to realise any commercial success. It was the CMT boom in the 1990's that brought the first real success for Pam Tillis with Arista, and producers Paul Worley & Ed Seay.

Tillis has enjoyed 13 top ten hits on the country music charts and in 1994 was named the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year.
