Through the years Jenny Yates has written songs with some of the world's finest vocalists and songwriters including: Garth Brooks, Keb'Mo', J.D. Souther, Eric Kaz, Janis Ian, Darden Smith, Andrew Gold, Carl Jackson, Peter McCann, Mike Reid and Tony Joe White.

Making her own statement as a recording artist. Yates' first cd - Out Of The Blue - is a set of songs she's written over the course of the last 15 years with some famous co-writers.

Setting out to create her own folk-country sound, Out Of The Blue was self-produced and recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles with some of the country's finest musicians, singers and engineers.
