More Loud Music and Strong Wine
Justin Trevino's fine vocals and traditional honky-tonk continues to build the reputation of one of the new, rising stars of Texas country music. Trevino's 2000 release Loud Music and Strong Wine has been re-issued with an additional six newly-recorded tracks as More Loud Music and Strong Wine, now boasting 22 tracks in all.
It is only fitting that other stellar Heart of Texas musicians join in on this excellent release. Levi Mullen, Bobby Flores and Dave Kirby are in the mix along with the excellent Amber Digby on harmony vocals.
Trevino's old sparring partner Johnny Bush drops in on the sessions, as does Curtis Potter, Jake Hooker and Leona Williams.
Old time traditional rootsy music, probably as far from the manufactured pop pretending to be country music as you will find.
