Miko Marks

To say that 2006 was a banner year for Miko Marks would be a tremendous understatement.

Being named 'Female Vocalist of the Year' by Indie World in Nashville put the young star in the company of big names including Dolly Parton. A red carpet event at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California, marked Miko's win as 'Best New Country Artist for 2006' by New Music Weekly Magazine.

Her debut album, Freeway Bound for which she penned 7 of the 10 cuts, was named 'Country Album of the Year' at the Independent Music Awards held in Montclair, NJ. Among the judges for the IMAs were country legends Wynonna Judd and Patti Loveless.
