Catie Curtis - Long Night Moon

Boston's own singer-songwriter Catie Curtis is perhaps best known for her song People Look Around which addresses the human toll and political fallout of Hurricane Katrina. However this talented somgwriter has appeared regularly since the mid nineties with artists such as Dar Williams and Richard Thompson.

Her rich voice shines on her new release Long Night Moon which has amongst its themes waiting, questioning, & reconnecting which were were mostly written at the time when Curtis first became a parent. Long Night Moon is an intricate work of stripped down modern folk.

Her songs have quietly appeared in television shows as diverse as Grey's Anatomy, Dawson's Creek, Felicity, and Alias.
