The series of DVDs and CDs based around the extended versions of the Austin City Limits TV show has been extremely popular, and Asleep At The Wheel - Live From Austin TX is no exception.

The Asleep At The Wheel live shows are reputed to be killer affairs since the band formed in 1974, and their commitment to keeping alive the music of Bob Wills and other Western Swing greats is something to be treasured. This show, recorded in 1992 includes their signature tunes such as Miles and Miles of Texas, Corina Corina, and Blues for Dixie.

This performance is extra special in that several of the original Texas Playboys join Asleep At The Wheel on stage.
