Fats Domino - Live From Austin TX [DVD]

The first most of the world heard of Fats Domino was when Pat Boone's cover of Ain't That A Shame went to number one in 1955. Fats' own version went to number 10 and the stage was set for Fats Domino to become a major star as both performer and writer.

Fats Domino saw five of his songs in the top 40 in 1956, including his most famous hit Blueberry Hill, which has previously been a hit for Glenn Miller in 1940.

Blueberry Hill, Ain't That A Shame and I'm Walkin' are all featured on this live performance from 1986 in the Austin City Limits DVD series, expanding the originally broadcast programme from 30 minutes to the full 90.
