Iris DeMent - Lifeline

Lifeline, on its release in 2004 was the first release from Arkansas folk singer extraordinare Iris DeMent in eight years.

The album is a deeply personal and spiritual affair, blending traditional religious songs with one new original track; He Reached Down which is itself effectively the Good Samaritan parable set to music.
