Chip Taylor, who penned the classics Wild Thing and Angel of the Morning teams up with singer-fiddler Carrie Rodriguez for this mainly acoustic CD Let's Leave This Town.

Taylor may be the brother of actor Jon Voight, and he may have taken a good few years away from songwriting and performing to become a professional gambler, but since the mid nineties he has averaged an album a year, all of which have been rewarded with strong critical reviews.

Let's Leave This Town highlights Taylor's songwriting skills and the passionate fiddle style of Rodriguez. Most of the songs on Let's Leave This Town are fleshed out with acoustic guitar, bass and drum with the occasional mandolin and organ thrown in for good Texas measure.
