The Four Ramblers - Legendary Irish Quartet

The Four Ramblers were an Irish quartet from the early fifties who mostly performed popular Irish songs, but they also provided music for early 50s BBC radio series Riders Of The Range, a western series produced by Charles Chilton.

The group smooth harmony style was influenced by The Sons Of The Pioneers and although only a few songs are actually Western, they bring the same approach to many of Irish songs on this release from the British Archive of Country Music - The Four Ramblers: Legendary Irish Quartet.
