The band Leaving TX have an alt-country sound anchored by original songs which are filled with hooks that fans just can't get out of their heads.

Formed in 2004 by songwriter Chris Patterson and bassist Garry Cecil, Leaving TX has come to life in the Washington DC music scene. Two guitars, drums and bass, this lineup is as classic as it comes. This is where true country gets reconciled with rock and punk ... and whiskey, bad women and tough bars.

These guys have been favorably compared to Drive By Truckers, Reckless Kelly, Steve Earle and Jack Ingram ... and not without good cause.
