Kimmie Rhodes

Kimmie Rhodes grew up in Lubbock Texas and recorded her first album in 1981. During the following decade Rhodes developed a solid fan base in the UK and Europe on the back of some high profile festival appearances.

Kimmie’s songs have been recorded by the likes of Willie Nelson, Wynonna Judd, Trisha Yearwood and Amy Grant amongs many others, and she has recorded with Nelson, as well as Waylon Jennings and Townes Van Zandt.

Rhodes is also a playwright and actress, her theatrical debut being the writing and production of her musical, Small Town Girl. Kimmie released an album based around the musical in 2006.
