Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney's first album, In My Wildest Dreams, was released on an independent label in 1994. The album sold about 10,000 copies before the label folded.
His first major hit was Fall in Love, which reached the Country Top 10 in 1995. Although the next couple of years were less successful, he returned with When I Close My Eyes in early 1997 giving Kenny his first number one.
In January 2005, Chesney released the album Be As You Are: Songs from an Old Blue Chair, before releasing his second album of that year, The Road and The Radio.
In February 2006, Chesney was presented with a plaque commemorating his sales of 25 million albums and Chesney was honoured at the Academy of Country Music Awards as Entertainer of the Year.
Don't Blink" was released in 2007, the second highest debut single on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts since the inception of SoundScan in 1990.
