Katrina Elam gained a publishing contract at the age of 16 while still in high school. After graduating, the Oklahoma singer moved to Nashville and signed a recording contract with Universal South. Katrina's self-titled debut album was released in 2004, and she was invited onto Keith Urban's Be Here tour, and continued touring through 2005.
A second album, Turn Me Up, is scheduled for release in 2007 but at the time of writing the release date has been delayed several times.
