 Karen Poston's Band the Crystal Pistols are named after a honky tonk in her hometown of Ohio, and they the energy and verve of her famous live shows are captured on her solo albums. Honky Tonk of the highest order, but as Slaid Cleaves has shown with his deft interpretations of her songs, an incredibly talented observational songwriter.
