Merle Haggard - Just Between The Two Of Us / The Fightin' Side Of Me

This 2003 release puts two classic albums onto one CD. Merle Haggard's 1966 album Just Between The Two Of Us (with former wife Bonnie Owens sharing the billing) is put alongside The Fightin' Side Of Me for 25 tracks of Outlaw Country bliss.

Just Between The Two Of Us was originally released as That Makes Two Of Us, but met with little commercial success, then this revamped version released two years later with additional tracks was a much bigger hit. The Fightin' Side of Me is an extremely rare live recording made in Philadelphia, a different beast from the studio album of the same name.
