John Platania is a well-known session musician, guitar player, and record producer.
Platania is best known for his work with Van Morrison, from Moondance, through to 1997's The Philosopher's Stone. He reunited with Morrison on his 2006 tour, and in the meantime has been touring and recording regularly with Chip Taylor, of Wild Thing fame.
